The pandemic hasn’t been easy on any of us, least of all the frontliners. Eighteen-hour work shifts and having to stay away from their loved ones are no joke, but these are sacrifices they’re willing to make to protect us from the virus.
While the frontliners are taking care of us, it’s heartwarming to see that Malaysians are returning the favour. Many have stepped forward to take care of them in return. One such initiative is Astro Media Solutions’ (AMS) #WiraKita campaign.

AMS joined forces with its brand partners to show appreciation and support to the frontline heroes, including medical practitioners and police officers, who have been tirelessly working to curb the spread of COVID-19 and protect our community.
Under the #WiraKita campaign, more than 20,000 essential items were contributed by our brand partners to ease the burden of the frontline heroes during the extended Movement Control Order (MCO), which also falls on the fasting month.

Celebrities such as Hael Husaini, Chubb -E and Shiha Zikir also turned up at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Ibu Pejabat Kontinjen Kuala Lumpur to show their support during the handover of #WiraKita care kits to the key representatives.
The #WiraKita care kits consisted of:
- Aiken and Safi shower cream
- Era Bayam Kota 5kg rice packs
- Sofy cooling fresh sanitary pads
- Salonpas pain relieve patch
- GVC Antibacterial soaps
- NIVEA products ranging from deodorants and shaving foam to facial wash and lotion
The sponsors included Wipro Unza, Era Bayam Kota, Unicharm, Hisamitsu, NIVEA and Good Virtues Co.
