With the shocking spike in COVID-19 cases lately, the government has announced tighter restrictions for the Movement Control Order (MCO3.0), which will be implemented tomorrow (May 25th).

Malls and retail outlets will still be open to support the economy, however, each customer is only allowed two hours max to shop.

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi released the latest SOPs for the retail and distribution sector, limiting only one person per four square metres.

Decisions to tighten the SOPs while still allowing the economic sector to operate is important, as it’s a step to finding the balance between fighting against the deadly virus and ensuring economic sustenance.

So, please follow the rules and stay safe, guys. We can only get over the pandemic if we work together towards the same goal.

More MCO3.0 SOPs for you here, in case you missed it.
