Lauren and Cameron Hamilton, beloved stars of Netflix’s Love Is Blind, have announced they’re expecting their first baby together after an emotional four-year fertility struggle.

In a new interview with PEOPLE, Lauren, 36, revealed the deeply personal journey she and Cameron, 34, have been on to become parents. “It’s been a long time coming. We’ve literally been trying to get pregnant for four years,” she said, describing the news as a “light in the darkness” following the heartbreaking loss of her father in late 2024.

Lauren shared that she discovered she was pregnant just weeks after her father’s passing. “We took this test at the end of January, beginning of February. It was like, wow. The spark that my whole family needed,” she said. Though bittersweet without her father present, Lauren said they feel his spirit with them: “We just felt so blessed, so grateful and happy, excited. Then it hit like, ‘We’re going to be parents. Oh my God.’”

Cameron shared how their journey involved IVF, describing the incredible moment they saw the word pregnant on the test. “We were counting down the days until we could test,” he said. Lauren added, “I fell to my knees and cried. It was a relief. Seeing that word, it was amazing.”

The couple, who met and married on the first season of Love Is Blind in 2020, are now turning to friends and fellow cast members for parenting tips—especially from Amber and Matt Barnett. “Amber is full of advice,” Lauren shared. “She’s giving me the real, real lowdown advice.”

Looking ahead, Lauren is eager to experience childhood wonder again through her baby’s eyes. “I’m looking forward to holding the baby and hearing that first cry, but also doing all the fun stuff—Disney on Ice, the zoo. Being a big kid again is going to be amazing,” she said.
