Newlyweds are known to be all lovey-dovey but a 26 year-old man in Indore, India allegedly forged a COVID-19 report to show that he was infected so that he could stay away from his wife.
Due to a personal matter, the man who got married in February this year, downloaded a COVID-19 positive report of another person and replaced it with his name, the police said.

After sending the report to his father and wife, he disappeared from his home. However, his family members grew suspicious of it as he wasn’t showing any symptoms. When they contacted the private laboratory (as stated in the report), the cat was out of the bag.
The man was later reported for forgery and other offences, and he has been asked to appear before police for further investigations.
