After years of speculation and fan campaigns, Marlon Wayans has officially confirmed that White Chicks 2 is in development.
The long-awaited sequel to the 2004 comedy classic—where Marlon and Shawn Wayans played undercover FBI agents disguised as wealthy white socialites—is finally moving forward.
Speaking at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards, where The Wayans Family was inducted into the Hall of Fame, Marlon, 52, made the exciting announcement during an interview with Good Morning America.
“I think it’s time,” he shared. “Let’s get Scary Movie 6 done, then we’re gonna go bring out White Chicks 2.”
This confirmation comes on the heels of another major revelation from the Wayans brothers, who recently announced their return to the Scary Movie franchise. Fans have long hoped for a White Chicks sequel, as the film has remained a pop culture favorite thanks to its outrageous humor, quotable lines, and lasting impact.
With Scary Movie 6 already in production, the Wayans family is making a major comeback in the comedy world. While there’s no official release date for White Chicks 2 just yet, anticipation is already through the roof.
