Things are getting serious again. COVID-19 cases are rising again and that is definitely NOT a good sign. So, when authorities ask something of us, let’s please do it for the sake of the wellbeing of our country.
There’s only so much one can do or say. What happens when someone reaches their breaking point? Drastic measures… that’s what happens.
Indonesian authorities have now come up with an unorthodox penalty for the stubborn anti-maskers out there, after a number of unusual punishments.
Eight people from East Java were ordered to dig graves for COVID-19 victims as a punishment for not wearing masks in public.

Cerme district head Suyono said that the particular punishment would be the best way to teach a lesson to the anti-maskers and at the same time, help overcome short-handedness at local cemeteries.
He added that this punishment would hopefully open their eyes on the effect of SOP violations.
The Indonesian authorities have asked violators to do push-ups, counting to 100 and honouring the national flag as well as lying down in a coffin and praying for COVID-19 victims in the middle of the night. So, let’s hope this one would have more impact on the anti-maskers.
Indonesia has reported a rise of 3,141 cases as of yesterday.
If this goes on, we’ll have to face serious impact on our economy and lifestyle in the coming years, So, let’s work towards betterment of society.
