Meet The Orang Asli Kids Who Travelled 200km Just To Attend Their Teacher’s Wedding

Some people are just so passionate about what they do!

Samuel, a teacher from SK Runchang, Muadzam Shah, Pahang definitely fits in the category very well.

He recently tweeted a throwback photo taken on his wedding day two years ago, sharing  how he brought his Orang Asli students to witness his special day!

Even before getting married, my wife knew that my Orang Asli children were a big part of life.

I thank God that she accepted me and my huge baggage of hundreds of children.

Therefore, before the wedding,
my Orang Asli children were the ones most excited!

Their “Santa Tuha” (old man) is finally getting married, haha. The news spread like wildfire, and in no time almost every child in the school wanted to be at the wedding!

On their own, all my children ultimately made-up their minds that they were coming to my wedding 🤣🤣

Though I wanted my children to be part of this special occasion, the thought of actually making it happen was extremely daunting!

Samuel, who has been teaching since 2012 added that his students were so excited to see their teacher tying the knot and what’s even better- they put up a special performance on that day, making it even more special and heart-warming for the couple!

The dedicated teacher’s dream was realized when more and more kids wanted to attend his wedding despite the distance. His colleague also managed to get a discount on the transportation cost.
