‘90s heartthrob, Nick Carter, recently announced that he and his wife, Lauren Kitt, are expecting their third child after she suffered multiple miscarriages.
The Backstreet Boy shared a video of the sonogram on Instagram with the caption: “Sometimes life blesses you with little surprises.”
The post has since been viewed over 880 thousand times!
He told People about just how surprised they were by the news after they previously settled on having two children, their 4-year-old son Odin Reign and their 1-year-old daughter Saoirse Reign.
The actress didn’t know she was pregnant until she was five-and-a-half months along, and even thought she might have a tumour because being pregnant was the last thing she expected.
She told People: “I didn’t have any symptoms; I didn’t have anything indicating that I was pregnant.”
“One day I just felt something move in my body and I said, ‘Nick, there’s something not right. I think I need to go to the doctor. Something’s wrong with me.’ I was not supposed to be able to have any more children, so I never assumed that I was pregnant.”

She continued saying that she thought she had a tumour because there was just no way that she could be pregnant, from her medical history and the things that she did to ensure she will only have two children.
Lauren also revealed that in 2015, during a pre-taped video package with Dancing With the Stars (when Nick Carter was competing) that she had suffered a miscarriage.
In 2018, Carter shared on Twitter, that his wife, whom he married in 2014 went through another miscarriage and they had lost a baby girl.
She told People that her last baby, before their daughter Saoirse was born in 2019 was a second-term loss.
As they wait for the arrival of their new bundle of joy, the family is currently spending their quarantine together in Las Vegas.
Although the gender of the baby is yet to be publicly revealed, the child is due this April.
