You and your family would love going up the formerly tallest building in the world. Enjoy the view of Taipei from its 83rd-floor observatory and if you have the time, dine at one of the restaurants.
#6 Jiufen, Taipei

Want to get out of the city? Take a day trip by shuttle bus to the town of Jiufen. Its landscape is unique because it’s a mountainous town. You can explore retro and Japanese-styled cafes, tea houses and souvenir shops while admiring amazing views of the ocean.
It’s said that famous Japanese animator, Hayao Miyazaki, was inspired by Jiufen when he designed the setting for Spirited Away.
#7 Taipei Zoo, Taipei
You and your kids are going to have a blast spending the day at Taipei Zoo! It’s the largest zoo in Asia and is easily accessibly via public transport. Housing more than 400 animals, the zoo is especially popular for its koalas, penguins, and giant pandas from China!
