Wouldn’t life be easy if we could do everything with just a single touch? This is why HUAWEI decided to up their game by creating the ‘Share’ function which allows people to do countless things with one tap.
What is 1+8+N and what does it mean? With HUAWEI p40 series being the centre of it all, they created a system to help you connect with other HUAWEI devices seamlessly.
‘1’ equals to the smartphone which is the P40 series, while ‘8’ represents the other devices HUAWEI has which are laptops, tablets, smart TV, glasses, watches, cars, earphones (Freebuds), and speakers.
Meanwhile, the ‘N’ stands for how they are helpful and connected such as easy travel, mobile office, smart home, fitness and health, and entertainment.
Here are eight things you can do with the HUAWEI Share:
#1 Work wherever and whenever on your laptop with ease

The P40 phones can be connected with HUAWEI laptops by just tapping your smartphone on the HUAWEI Share label on the laptop.
You can easily drag and drop files between smartphone and laptop through mouse and keyboard. If you are using HUAWEI Matebook X Pro, you can just use your fingers!
The phone screen can be displayed on the laptop so you don’t have to switch between two devices constantly.
#2 You can turn your smartphone into a projector!
When you connect your smartphone to the HUAWEI Smart TV, you can project your phone display onto the bigger screen.
All you need to do is turn on the NFC on your smartphone and tap it on the HUAWEI Share label on your Smart TV’s remote control. Once it’s connected, you don’t have to this again.
Though the HUAWEI Smart TV is not yet available in Malaysia, you can look forward to the day it arrives on our shores.
#3 Be more efficient no matter how you work

Just like Huawei laptops, HUAWEI MatePad Pro has multi-screen collaboration function. Your smartphone can be operated on the tablet just like the laptop, which enables two-way drag and drop of pictures, videos and files.
To connect the two devices, switch on the NFC function on your smartphone and tap it on the ‘Shift’ key of the MatePad Pro’s keyboard.
#4 Instant connection to your speakers for easy listening

Isn’t it annoying sometimes when you have to pair your phone with your Bluetooth speaker and it just wouldn’t connect? Through the One Tap Share technology, you only need to connect the HUAWEI Sound X with your smartphone once and it will automatically connect again in the future.
You can easily control the songs without your phone too. You can pause the music easily just by covering the top of the speaker with your palm. The HUAWEI Sound X is the first smart speaker created in collaboration with Devialet which supports hi-res sound.
#5 Forgot the Wi-Fi password? No worries!

With the HUAWEI AX3 router, you can directly tap your HUAWEI smartphone on the NFC sensing area of the router and have instant access to the Wi-Fi network. So, you don’t have to rack your brain, search for the little piece of paper, or even reset your password over and over again anymore.
#6 Don’t worry about misplaced car keys anymore
Your car keys are so important yet, due to its size, they go missing more often than you’d like. You’ll need to rummage through your pockets, bags or entire house just to find them sometimes.
The HUAWEI Share function allows you to unlock your car when you’re near the door handle. To lock your car, close the door after you get out and hold the NFC area of your phone near your car’s door handle.
