Cats like the one we’re about to read make us think twice if they’re really unbothered.
Simba the cat ‘chased’ an elephant that had wandered into the garden of its home.
The elephant apparently is a regular ‘visitor’ known by locals in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand. Pai Salick would often wander in search of food, so residents around the area do know him.
However, the three year-old feline is aggressive and does not like other animals entering its territory. Hence, when the 35 year-old Pai Salick entered its garden, Simba was quick to react, regardless of their size differences.

Simba was so fearless despite being so petite, and we guess the elephant was actually intimidated by its bravery. Pai Slaick just turned around and scarpered away.

According to a local park ranger, Amnat Norasin, Pai Salick is one of an estimated 2,000 elephants living in the wild in Thailand. They often spend their days roaming the deep jungle and protected national parks for food.
We hope Pai Salick has learned its lesson not to mess with people’s personal spaces, but at the same time, we also hope that the wild animals don’t die from starvation.
