Some of us are way more active on stories than actually posting on profiles and after Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook, Twitter has now introduced the story feature, too!

It’s called Fleets and you wouldn’t be needing a tutorial for that because it’s just the same as every other story you post.
This feature is said to be rolling out globally (starting yesterday), so we guess you can update your Twitter and you’ll be able to Fleet on your account!
The social media platform started testing the feature back in March 2020 in several countries including Brazil, Italy, India and South Korea. The feedback must have been good, hence the decision to introduce it globally.
You cannot retweet, like or reply in a story, however, you can reply in the form of Direct Messages. In this way, users will be able to express their casual ‘everyday thoughts’ in stories as they will disappear in 24 hours, or even post personal things that they do not feel comfortable leaving on their profiles for months.
We thought religious Twitter users would be happy about this feature… but no, they’d still want the edit button! Twitter comments are swamped with ‘we need an edit button’ comments and you can see them for yourself.
Hmm, we think they might have a reason for not enabling that feature, though. What do you think?
Are you guys excited to send out your first Fleet?
