1.4 million people urged to complete MySejahtera COVID-19 vaccine registrations

The National COVID-19 Vaccination Program’s coordinating minister Khairy Jamaluddin says around 1.4 million MySejahtera users failed to fill out the health assessment and provide their current address to register for the COVID-19 vaccine.
As such, he has urged these users to immediately fill up the missing details so that they can complete their registration.
He adds that it's important to register with their current address, as vaccination appointments will be set based on the provided address.

Malaysia to go ahead to purchase AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine
There is no evidence that the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine can cause blood clots in recipients after they get the shot.
As such, the National Immunisation program's coordinating minister Khairy Jamaluddin says for now, Malaysia will proceed with plans to purchase the vaccine.
This comes after several nations decided to suspend the vaccine's use.

Only 1,200 new COVID-19 cases reported today
Malaysia recorded 1,208 new COVID-19 cases today.
Selangor had the highest number of infections with 398 cases, followed by 251 in Sarawak, and Penang with 142.
Meanwhile, the death toll has risen to 1,213, after three more patients succumbed to the virus.
