Mar 16, 2021

This is in line with the PM’s call to complete the immunization program by the end of this year.
On another note, Khairy Jamaluddin says a notification has been sent to the 1.4 million MySejahtera users who failed to complete their registrations for the COVID-19 vaccine.
He adds that the app also has a record of first-time registrations to prevent repeated attempts.
He was responding to PKR Chief Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s questions yesterday, regarding the immunization program.

Image: Al Jazeera
A new US study has found that the COVID-19 vaccine is highly effective in preventing the spread of the coronavirus in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes.
According to researchers, the vaccine is 63% effective against the virus after the first dose, suggesting that elderly folk will be offered significant protection after completing the second jab.
This, as a large number of America’s COVID-19-related deaths and transmissions were linked to such facilities.
