CMCO extended in six states

The Conditional Movement Control Order in Selangor, KL, Johor, Penang, and Kelantan will be extended for two more weeks, starting March 19th until the 31st.
Meanwhile, the Defence Minister says Sarawak will remain under the CMCO until March 29th.
Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob adds that Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, and Perak will no longer be under a CMCO, and a Recovery MCO will be enforced there instead.
However, Kuala Muda and Kulim in Kedah along with Seremban in Negeri Sembilan will remain under the CMCO.
Perlis, Melaka, Pahang, Terengganu, Sabah, Putrajaya, and Labuan will continue to be under a Recovery MCO.

Ramadhan and Aidilfitri bazaars given green light nationwide
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail says Ramadan and Aidilfitri bazaars will be allowed to go ahead nationwide.
However, they must adhere to strict SOPs as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19.
Datuk Seri Ismail adds that tarawih prayers will also be allowed during the fasting month subject to guidelines set by respective state religious authorities.

Malaysia reports record low of new COVID-19 cases this year
Malaysia reported 1,063 new COVID-19 cases today, the lowest number of new infections this year.
Selangor had the highest number of cases at just 323 cases, followed by 183 in Sarawak, and Penang 175.
The Health Ministry also reported five more fatalities, raising the death toll to 1,218.
