Msia and Singapore committed to recognise vaccine certificate

The Malaysian and Singaporean governments have reaffirmed their commitment to recognize each other's COVID-19 vaccination certificates, which will allow cross border travel in the future.
They say they will further discuss and finalise the vaccine certificate's details, including its requirements, health protocols, and application process.
Both countries will also continue working to restore cross border travel for other groups, in addition to the Reciprocal Green Lane, and Periodic Commuting Arrangement.

Malaysia’s biggest drug bust – 16 tonnes of drugs seized
Authorities managed to score Malaysia's biggest drug bust after seizing 16 tonnes of illegal pills at Port Klang, Selangor.
The drugs had a value of RM5.2 billion.
The Customs Department says the drugs arrived from the Middle East and were meant to be shipped to another country.

Another 1,300 new COVID-19 cases
Malaysia reported 1,384 new COVID-19 cases today.
Selangor had the highest number of infections at 625, followed by 161 in Johor, and Sarawak with 140.
The Health Ministry also recorded six more fatalities, raising the death toll to 1,244.
