You can visit the National Security Council’s website to get updated SOPs on social events, lectures and courses during the pandemic.

The IGP says the SOPs differ according to the movement control order status and focus will be given to aspects such as physical distancing and the area of premises.

The scanning body temperature, for instance, only needs to be done once when entering a building such as a shopping complex.

Malaysia has recorded fewer than 2,000 daily Covid-19 infections for 18 consecutive days.

This as the Health Ministry reported 1,384 new cases along with 6 fatalities.

Selangor had the highest number of infections at 625, followed by Johor and Sarawak.

Starting next month, cross-border travel between Malaysia and Singapore will be allowed but for compassionate reasons.

Currently, Malaysians working in Singapore and who wish to return to the country for compassionate reasons have to put in an appeal.

On the Reciprocal Green Lane travel arrangement with Malaysia which is currently suspended, the republic says it might resume from May onwards.
