Undi 18 & automatic voter registration deferred to Sept 2022

The Election Commission will start the implementation of Undi18 and automatic voter registration after September 1st, next year !

It says the movement control order has affected some of the preparations and plans put in place to implement the two measures.

But, the EC is still committed to its original plan of implementing the policies before GE15 in 2023.

The Education Ministry will use an online system to mark and grade all SPM exam papers.

It says this can expedite the marking process and the release of the results while maintaining the principles of fairness, authenticity, and trust.

Couples in New Zealand, who have a miscarriage or stillbirth will be eligible for paid bereavement leave under a new law approved by its parliament.

The bill was put forward to allow mothers and their partners to come to terms with their loss without taking sick leave.

New Zealand is reportedly only the second country in the world to introduce the measure, after India.
