Show up for your COVID-19 vaccine appointment
Apr 05, 2021
Those eligible to be vaccinated under Phase 2 of the National Immunisation Program will start receiving their appointments today, via the MySejahtera app.
Its coordinating minister says they will be given an option to either accept or decline the appointment.
Khairy Jamaluddin adds that those who accept must show up for the jab, to prevent any vaccines from going to waste.
Meanwhile, Khairy says workers could be allowed to take leave to go for their vaccination appointment.
He says he will discuss the matter with the HR Ministry.
On another note, Khairy says eight states and territories will enter phase two of vaccinations on April 19th.
They are Kedah, Melaka, Terengganu, Pahang, Penang, Labuan, Sabah, and Sarawak.
He explained that other states will kick-off the second phase slightly later, due to logistical concerns.
