New COVID-19 cases close to reaching 2k

Malaysia reported a rise in new COVID-19 cases today, reaching almost 2 thousand infections.
The Health Ministry recorded 1,889 cases.
Selangor had the highest number of infections, followed by Sarawak and Kelantan.
Meanwhile, eight patients succumbed to the virus, raising the death toll to 1,353.

Don’t slow down COVID-19 vaccine administrations during Ramadan
Medical experts reckon that COVID-19 vaccinations should NOT slow down during the month of Ramadan.
Instead, they believe vaccinations should be sped up to ensure the country reaches herd immunity against the coronavirus.
This comes after the Health Ministry recently said that it will not administer vaccines at night during Ramadan but will continue with vaccinations until evenings.

Bukit Aman rubbishes claim mandating daily itinerary for interstate travel
You don’t have to provide your daily itinerary to the police when applying to cross state borders.
Bukit Aman told Berita Harian that applicants only need to complete a form and provide supporting documents.
A post went viral on social media claiming applicants must provide their daily activities in order to get permission for interstate travel.
