Sabah now under Conditional MCO

Sabah will no longer be placed under the Recovery Movement Control Order.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says a Conditional MCO will be enforced instead…
Meanwhile, KL, Selangor, Johor, Penang, and Sarawak will remain under the CMCO, while all districts in Kelantan will still be under a Movement Control Order.
Datuk Seri Ismail adds that the RMCO will continue to be enforced in the remaining states and territories.
The orders will be in effect until May 17th.

Another day, another 2,700 new COVID-19 cases
Malaysia reported 2,733 new COVID-19 cases today.
Selangor, Kelantan, and Sarawak had the most cases, while Labuan had none.
The Health Ministry also recorded 13 fatalities, raising the death toll to 1,462.

Higher chance of developing blood clots if infected by COVID-19, than getting vaccine
Those who are infected by the coronavirus, have a higher chance of developing blood clots, than those who receive the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
The National Immunisation Program's Special Committee says COVID-19 patients are up to 10 times more likely to suffer the condition.
While, the risk of developing the adverse side effect from the vaccine is significantly lower, at one in a quarter of a million.
