Patients who need to travel for doctor's appointments and scheduled treatments no longer have to obtain a police permit to do so.
Putrajaya says they will only need to show their appointment cards when going through police roadblocks.
Meanwhile, the government says failure to check-in before entering premises continues to outnumber other Covid-19 SOPs violations.
Malaysia recorded 26 deaths from Covid-19 yesterday, the highest ever, even as the number of fresh infections fell to 3,733.
This is the first time in 3 days that cases dropped below the 4,000-mark.
There are currently around 37 thousand patients seeking treatment for the coronavirus.
Kluang has become the fourth district in Johor that will be placed under the MCO for two weeks, starting tomorrow after more than 500 people tested positive for Covid-19.
Currently, JB, Kulai and Kota Tinggi are under the MCO.
