Registration for AZ opt-in program to re-open soon

Registration for the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine opt-in program will be reopened soon.
The Minister in charge of vaccination Khairy Jamaluddin says a million more doses of the vaccine are on the way, and will be made available to those in the Klang Valley as well as other states.
He says an official announcement on the matter will be made next week.

44 patients died of Covid-19 in the country yesterday -setting a new record for the highest number of fatalities in a single day.
It came as 4,140 new infections were reported – the fourth day in a row that cases have been above the four thousand-mark.
Selangor, once again accounted for the bulk of infections – with 1,507 cases.
The number of patients currently in ICU’s nationwide is also at a record high of 502.

Malaysia is taking the lead together with Indonesia and Brunei to issue a joint statement condemning Israeli attacks on the Palestinians.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says our government will also continue to pressure the international community to take action over the worsening crisis.
