Malaysia had another record-breaking day after reporting 47 fatalities yesterday.

This is the highest single-day loss since the start of the covid19 pandemic here.

This comes as we reported 4,865 cases yesterday, with Selangor accounting for most infections.

The Health Ministry has detected 19 new Covid-19 clusters in the country at workplaces, education and religious centres and in the community.

The 19 clusters were located in Selangor, Johor, Penang, Kedah, KL, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, Sarawak and Perak.

The Health Director General is concerned over the emergence of new Covid-19 variants in the country.

This as many patients did not show any symptoms and even tested negative for the coronavirus.

Police will be more thorough in considering approvals for all inter-district and interstate travel applications.

The IGP says this is because they had detected a group of people who abused or falsified documents.
