Online sale of Covid-19 vaccines a scam
Jun 29, 2021
The sale of Covid-19 vaccines advertised on social media sites is a fraud perpetrated by a syndicate.
Bukit Aman stressed that vaccines are not goods that can be sold easily as the product is very sensitive and exclusive, requiring a high level of security.
Malaysia reported 5,218 Covid-19 cases yesterday, with Selangor having the most cases.
Meanwhile, the death toll rose by 57, to surpass the 5,000 mark.
The Domestic, Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry has emphasised that now is not the right time for traders and industries to raise the prices of goods and services.
This is after it received applications from food and essential goods companies and industries requesting to increase the prices of their products.
