EMCO in 34 Selangor sub-districts lifted today

34 sub-districts in Selangor will no longer be under the Enhanced Movement Control Order.

Deputy PM Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the government has agreed not to extend the EMCO, which was scheduled to end today.

Meanwhile, an EMCO will be placed in several localities in Selangor, Pahang, Sabah, and Sarawak starting this Sunday.

Elderly folk in Klang Valley can walk in for COVID-19 vaccine from tomorrow

Starting tomorrow, those aged 60 and above in the Klang Valley can walk in at COVID-19 vaccination centers to receive their shot of the vaccine.

Minister-in-charge of the National Immunisation Program Khairy Jamaluddin says those who already have an appointment are advised to follow their respective time slots.

On another note, Khairy says every adult in Selangor and KL will complete at least one dose by next month.

Slight dip in new COVID-19 cases

There was a slight drop in new COVID-19 infections, after we reported 12,541 cases today.

According to the Health Ministry, Selangor continues to record the most cases at over 5,000.

This is followed by Negeri Sembilan and KL.
