slight dip in new covid-19 cases

The Health Ministry does not deny the possibility that exhaustion among workers could have led to allegations that some COVID-19 vaccine recipients were injected with empty syringes.

Because of this, it has urged those working at vaccination centers to come forward if they need time to rest.

It adds that three of such allegations are being investigated by police.

FMM wants non-essential sector to reopen at half capacity

slight dip in new covid-19 cases

The government has been urged to consider easing certain COVID-19 SOPs enforced on non-essential manufacturing industries.

The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers wants these sectors to be allowed to reopen at 50% capacity, even in areas under Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan.

It's because many businesses, especially SMEs have been hit hard by the ongoing pandemic, as non-essential sectors have remained closed since late May.
