Action to be announced against antivax groups

There are concerns that groups who reject the COVID-19 vaccine could jeopardise the country’s efforts to achieve herd immunity.
As such, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says the government will look into the matter, adding that vaccinations could be made compulsory.
The PM adds that an announcement will be made by as early as this month.

Police urged to be on alert on the sale of fake COVID-19 vaccination certs
Police have been urged to remain vigilant against any parties attempting to make a profit by selling fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates online.
The Malaysian Association of Certified Fraud Examiners also want authorities to up their efforts to ensure certs being used are legitimate.
Meanwhile, Bukit Aman has so far only received one report over the matter.

Motion of confidence to be tabled Sept 7
PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s motion of confidence will not be tabled at Parliament next week.
The Communications and Multimedia Minister debunked the rumour, saying the motion will be tabled on September 7th.
He adds that a notice has already been issued by the Dewan Rakyat Speaker.
