Labuan transitions in Phase 4, Negeri Sembilan to Phase 2
Aug 25, 2021
Labuan has become the first territory to enter phase four of the national recovery plan starting tomorrow due its low number of Covid-19 cases and high vaccination rate.
Among the relaxations that Labuan residents can benefit from this transition is that all economic sectors are allowed to operate and social gatherings are allowed.
Meanwhile, Negeri Sembilan will be entering phase two on Thursday as well.
Some of the benefits include inter-district travel for individuals who have completed two vaccine doses.
Pahang has allowed night markets, bundle sales, and car boot sales to resume operations, but only for visitors who have completed their vaccinations.
They are required to produce their Covid-19 digital vaccination certificate as proof of being fully vaccinated.
Malaysia reported 211 fatalities from Covid-19 yesterday, including 40 brought-in-dead cases.
The Health Ministry confirmed 20,837 cases, with the Klang Valley reporting infections below the 6,000 mark for the second straight day.
