KJ vows to bring down Covid-19 fatalities

New health minister Khairy Jamaluddin vows to reduce the number of Covid-19 deaths and brought-in-dead cases.

The Rembau MP is confident that his ministry will soon see progress in its battle against the coronavirus.

This as PM Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob gave his ministers 100 days to prove themselves.

The MACC is concerned over allegations that doctors are being bribed to issue vaccination certs to those who did not receive Covid-19 vaccination jabs.

It says the matter will be investigated, adding that it is not only corruption but also affects the reputation of medical practitioners.

There is no more odour pollution at the Sungai Semenyih water treatment plant.

However, Air Selangor says it will take about 36 hours before water supply resumes in affected areas.

More than 400 areas in 5 regions in the Klang Valley had been affected by unscheduled water cuts since yesterday.
