Lawmakers warned to never gamble Malaysia's future

Malaysia's lawmakers have been reminded to remain focused on overcoming the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong warned MPs to never gamble with the country's future due to certain agendas.
The Agong also called on all parties not to be complacent with efforts to combat the outbreak, especially with the emergence of new variants.

Langkawi goers reminded to be responsible tourists
Those planning to visit Langkawi are encouraged to use tour agencies, as they will not be allowed to travel there using private vehicles.
Meanwhile, the Tourism, Arts, and Culture Ministry says visitors are not required to undergo COVID-19 testing.
It also hopes visitors will be responsible tourists, by continuing to follow set guidelines.
It’s because the bubble concept in Langkawi will serve as a benchmark for more destinations to reopen.

New COVID-19 cases drop to 16k
Daily COVID-19 infections in the country dropped to 16,073 today, with Sarawak reporting the most cases.
This is followed by Johor, and Selangor was third after it reported fewer than 2,000 infections.
Meanwhile, Sabah, Perak, Penang, Kedah, and Kelantan also had four-digit cases.
