Parents to accompany teens for walk-in jabs

Teenagers who walk into COVID vaccination centers to take jab must be accompanied by a guardian.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says it’s because those aged 12 to 17 must fill up a consent form before receiving the injection.
Khairy says an announcement will be made tomorrow, on the selected vaccination centers that will offer walk-ins.

85k teenagers now partially immunised in Labuan, Sabah, and Sarawak
Over 85,000 teenagers in Labuan, Sabah, and Sarawak have already been given their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says so far, there have been no reports of them experiencing adverse side effects.
This, as the Health Ministry kicked off a new vaccination program today, which involves those aged 12 to 17.

New COVID-19 cases remain at 14k
New COVID-19 cases in Malaysia continued to drop, after we reported 14,345 infections today.
The Health Ministry says Sarawak had the most cases, followed by Johor, and Selangor.
Labuan had none.
