Walk-in jabs for teens starting Thursday

Starting Thursday, all teenagers will be allowed to walk into COVID-19 vaccination centers, to receive the injection.
The Health Ministry says they can do so at 156 selected centers nationwide.
It adds that the walk-ins will be according to schedules set by schools, to ensure the immunization process goes ahead smoothly.
Currently, more than 300,000 teenagers have already been given one dose.

80% adult population now fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Malaysia has reached a milestone as 80% of the country's adult population has already completed both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says authorities will continue with efforts to inoculate those who have yet to take the jab.
PM Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob also congratulated the success of the National Immunisation Program.

New COVID-19 cases rise to 15k
Daily COVID-19 cases in Malaysia rose slightly to 15,759 today, with Sarawak having the most infections.
The Health Ministry says Johor had the second most cases, ahead of Selangor, and Penang.
Several other states including Sabah, and Kelantan also had 4-digit cases.
