New COVID-19 cases drop to 13k

Daily COVID-19 cases in Malaysia dropped after we logged 13,754 infections today.
The Health Ministry says Selangor, Johor, and Sarawak had the most cases, with fewer than 2,000 infections each.
Sabah, Kelantan, and Penang also recorded 4-digit cases.

COVID treatment reimbursements to be reviewed case-by-case
Government reimbursements will not be automatically approved for COVID-19 patients who were forced to seek treatment at private facilities.
Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin says the matter will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
He was responding to a question in Parliament, on whether patients will be reimbursed after being treated privately due to a lack of space at public hospitals.

9,015 domestic violence cases reported since start of MCO
There are mounting concerns over individuals who suffered domestic violence amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The Women, Family, and Community Development Minister says over 9 thousand reports have been lodged since the start of the Movement Control Order last March.
Datuk Seri Rina Harun says over half of the total was reported this year.
She says several initiatives have been set up to help victims, including the Talian Kasih hotline and its online application.
