There are mounting concerns over individuals who suffered domestic violence amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The Women, Family, and Community Development Minister says over 9 thousand reports have been lodged since the start of the Movement Control Order last March.

Datuk Seri Rina Harun says over half of the total was reported this year.

She says several initiatives have been set up to help victims, including the Talian Kasih hotline and its online application.
