Almost RM75m in Covid-19 SOP fines collected so far

Almost 75 million ringgit have been collected in fines for Covid-19 SOP violations throughout the MCO period.
The Health Ministry also revealed that more than 350 cases are currently on trial.
Notices for fines issued are valid since the Emergency Ordinance is still enforceable for a period of 6 months despite its August 1 expiry date.
95% of dead on arrival cases tested positive for Covid-19 during post-mortem.
Health officials say this means that most of them did not know they were infected with the virus, or could not seek treatment in time.
This as we reported a slight increase in daily Covid-19 cases with 11, 332 infections.
Sabah has announced further easing of restrictions involving reopening of spas and wellness business as well as several tourism spots.
State officials say spas, reflexology, beauty and wellness businesses as well as manicure and pedicure services in the state will be allowed to operate from Friday.
