The Health Ministry has debunked a viral video alleging several teenagers died after taking the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to investigations, a student in Perak was infected by COVID, and had also suffered from comorbidities.

It explained that another student there had died due to heart complications.

It also noted that both of them had not received the vaccine.

Meanwhile, it says there were no reports of a teenager who died in Sabah, due to the jab.

Interstate travel only allowed to Langkawi

Interstate travel will remain banned until 90% of the adult population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The Tourism, Arts, and Culture Ministry says for now, those from different states are only allowed to visit Langkawi, under the bubble program.

It also says that people living in areas under phase 2 or above of the National Recovery Plan, can only visit tourist destinations within their own states.

New COVID-19 cases rose to 12k

Daily COVID-19 cases in the country rose to 12,434 today.

The Health Ministry says Sarawak was the only state with over 2,000 infections.

Selangor had the second most cases, ahead of Johor, and Kelantan.
