COVID infection among children this year over 30 times higher than last year
The Health Minister says some 400,000 children below the age of 18 were infected by COVID-19 this year.
Khairy Jamaluddin says this is over 30 times higher compared to last year.
On another note, Khairy has reminded everyone to continue abiding by set guidelines.
It's because vaccinations alone are not enough to put an end to the ongoing pandemic.
Currently, more than 43 million COVID vaccine doses have already been given out nationwide.
Almost 86 percent of the adult population has now completed both doses, involving over 20 million recipients.
