Fully vaccinated husbands allowed in labour room from Oct 4

Starting next Monday, fully vaccinated husbands or immediate family members will be allowed to be present with wives in the labour room.

They must undergo a Covid-19 screening test within 72 hours, and the test results must be brought along before accompanying the pregnant mother.

The Health Ministry says they will have to always adhere to set SOPs as pregnant women are at high risk and need to be protected.

Lack of sleep and not consuming proper food are found to be the cause of a 12-year-old boy who suddenly passed out after getting vaccinated yesterday in Melaka.

The state health department clarified that the boy did not have any side effects during his vaccination nor during the observation period.

Zoo Negara will finally be reopened to the public today, following months of closure due to the MCO.
