The Health Minister says those who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 are still banned from enjoying economic and social activities, such as dining in at restaurants.

Khairy Jamaluddin says the vaccination requirement covers all phases of the National Recovery Plan.

This comes amid some confusion over the SOPs, now that more areas have entered the plan’s third phase.

Daily COVID-19 infections in the country dropped slightly, after we logged 11,889 cases today.

The Health Ministry says Sarawak, Selangor, and Johor were the only states with 4-digit infections.

Labuan only had two.

At least 60% adults now fully vaccinated in every state

All states in the country have now given out both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to at least 60% of their adult populations.

This means that over 86% of Malaysian adults have now completed both doses.

Overall, nearly 43.7 million doses have been administered nationwide.
