Melaka state assembly dissolved

The Melaka state assembly has been dissolved.
State assembly speaker Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh says the dissolution took effect yesterday.
He adds that the current state government will act as caretaker until an election is called.
This, after four assemblymen withdrew their support for the Chief Minister.

88% of adults now fully vaccinated against COVID-19
More than 44 and a half million COVID vaccine doses have been given out nationwide.
We are just 2% shy from fully vaccinating 90 % of adults throughout the country.
The government earlier announced that interstate travel will be allowed, once we hit that target.

New COVID-19 cases still under five figures
Malaysia reported a slight rise in new COVID-19 cases, at 8,817 today.
This means daily infections have remained below five figures for a third day in a row.
The Health Ministry says Sarawak, Selangor, and Kelantan were the only states with over 1 thousand cases each.
