Msia can produce own vaccine in 10 years

Malaysia can become a producer of human vaccines within the next 10 years!

The Science, Technology and Innovation Minister says this will be through the National Vaccine Development Roadmap which will be launched in the near future.

He says this needs to be expedited because the government is aware about the difficulties to obtain vaccines from developed countries due to vaccine hoarding.

Malaysia’s daily Covid-19 cases rose yesterday to 9,380.

However, this is the fourth day in a row that new cases stayed below 5 figures.

Sarawak, Selangor, Johor, and Kelantan were the only states with over 1 thousand cases each.

Johor will transition to Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan tomorrow, while Pahang will move to Phase 4.

The SOPs will be the same as other states which have transitioned into the two phases.
