No more states in Phase 1 and 2 from next week

Oct 16, 2021

no more states in phase 1 and 2 from next week

Starting Monday, no more states in the country will be in Phase 1 or 2 of the National Recovery Plan.

The PM said this, as Selangor, KL, Putrajaya and Melaka are set to move into the plan’s fourth phase next week.

Meanwhile, Kedah, Kelantan, Penang, Perak, and Sabah will enter Phase 3.

The decision was based on the country’s current COVID-19 situation.

Daily infections have remained below five figures for two consecutive weeks.

On another note, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says starting today, RnRs along all highways are allowed to operate round-the-clock.

He adds that e-hailing services can now carry passengers according to the vehicles’ capacity in all phases under the recovery plan.
