There is still no response from anti COVID-19 vaccination groups to the government’s vaccine awareness initiative.

The Health Ministry is hoping to meet with them, to educate them on the benefits of being immunised.

It is concerned that these groups are getting wrong information.

Currently, more than 49.5 million vaccine doses have already been given out nationwide.

There is no shortage of manpower at schools, even though teachers who refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine are banned from physical classes.

The Education Ministry says it's because fewer than 1 percent of educators are still unvaccinated.

Meanwhile, it says it will continue with efforts to convince such teachers to take the injection before next month.

All civil servants have been reminded to complete their COVID-19 vaccinations before November 1st.

The Public Service Department says even though most have already taken the shot, the few who still refuse the jab paint civil servants in a negative light.

It adds that they have a duty to help convince the public of the importance of being vaccinated.
