Nov 12, 2021
The national infectivity rate has risen to 0.99!
The Health Ministry says an Rt above 1.0 indicates the possibility of a new Covid-19 wave, like what we experienced in the beginning of the third wave.
This as Malaysia’s daily COVID-19 infections rose again yesterday, with 6,323 cases.
It’s the second day in a row that daily cases crossed the 6 thousand mark.
Meanwhile, another 48 Covid-19 cases involving the Delta variant have been detected.
The cases comprised 34 detected in Penang, 12 in Pahang and 2 in Perlis.
A university student in Melaka has been tested positive for Covid-19 after attending a programme.
8 more students were detected experiencing upper respiratory tract symptoms.
Malaysia is an unhealthy nation, as a large number of people suffer from heart disease and obesity.
The Health Minsiter says one in every two Malaysians are obese adding that one in four Malaysians also do not exercise regularly.
Khairy Jamaluddin is urging Malaysians to learn to make a behavioural change and improve their awareness without having to rely on the Ministry.
