Malawi added to country travel ban list
Dec 01, 2021
The Health Minister says one more African country has been added to the list of nations under a temporary travel ban.
Khairy Jamaluddin says it now includes Malawi.
It’s due to the emergence of the new Omicron variant overseas.
On another note, Khairy has urged senior citizens and those with comorbidities to hold off on plans to travel abroad.
He also wants them to avoid crowded places.
He adds that authorities will prepare a list of high-risk countries, which will be updated daily.
