486 Delta variant Covid-19 cases since Monday

Nearly 500 new Delta variant Covid-19 cases have been detected within the space of five days this week.

The Health Ministry says no Omicron variant cases were reported during this period.

This as we reported 3,346 Covid-19 cases yesterday.

The Education Ministry will ensure face-to-face schooling sessions for 2022 can be implemented throughout the year.

It is optimistic about this as there’s several initiatives including compliance with SOPs.

Meanwhile, the Ministry says its focus for this year will be on the development of a new curriculum.

It is mandatory for employers to advertise job vacancies on the MYFutureJobs portal.

The HR Ministry says this is to make certain that the opportunities are offered to locals first before being filled by foreigners.

This is because issues have often been raised on the shortage of manpower in the
 employment sectors.
