PM defends govt's crisis response during floods

The Prime Minister has defended his government’s crisis response during the recent massive flood disaster.

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the floods that hit 8 states were unprecedented.

At least six warnings were issued by weather officials, but they were ignored.

He adds that he was on the ground from day one and the army was deployed the night itself.

New COVID-19 cases in Malaysia have remained above the 3 thousand mark.

According to the Health Director General, new infections stood at 3,764 today.

It's up by 535 cases compared to yesterday.

The Education Ministry is investigating an allegation that students under the Supplementary Food Programme, RMT are being served just rice and gravy.

This comes after a viral social media post concerning the RMT was brought to its Minister’s attention.
