Starting March 1st, university students will be allowed to gradually return to their campuses at institutions under the Higher Education Ministry.

Prayer ceremonies will be allowed to take place at temples for the upcoming Maasi Magam festival, and Chingay parade.

SOPs for Maasi Magam will be enforced from the 16th until the 19th of February, with only fully vaccinated individuals allowed to join religious activities.

The chariot procession can go ahead involving not more than 50 temple management members, without stopping at any locations, among other SOPs.

Meanwhile, SOPs for the Chingay parade in Johor will take effect from the 19th until the 22nd of this month.

The Defence Minister adds that the number of temple management members allowed to take part will depend on the event.
