Hospitalization rates and the use of ventilators for Covid-19 patients are on the rise.
The Health Director-General says the use of ICU beds for Covid patients in Johor and KL has exceeded 50 percent.
He adds that more than half of the low-risk quarantine and treatment center beds in nine states are also occupied.
Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also warned that although the majority of new Covid patients are in Categories 1 and 2…some of them may get worse and require subsequent treatment at a health facility.

The Health Ministry will investigate a video, alleging that the liquid vaccine was removed from the syringe before the Health Minister’s young son was vaccinated recently.
It also urged people not to believe or share fake news about the vaccination program…saying its already probed quite a number of such cases and taken action.
This comes after the Health Minister himself yesterday urged people to stop interfering with parents who want to get their kids vaccinated by sharing false allegations.
