Tremors felt in Malaysia following earthquake in Indonesia

Tremors were felt in several states following a 6.1 magnitude earthquake that struck North Sumatra in Indonesia this morning.
The Met Department says the areas include Selangor, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Johor
However, the Dept says there is no threat of a tsunami to Malaysia.

COVID-19: Death of 13-year-old not caused by allergic reaction
Authorities have ruled out an allergic reaction as the cause of death of a 13-year-old, who allegedly died after taking the COVID-19 vaccine.
Health Director General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says the government is still waiting for the full postmortem report.
Dr Noor Hisham adds that authorities did not receive any reports that the teen had experienced side effects after getting the jab.

11 Malaysians to be evacuated from Ukraine
The Prime Minister says 11 Malaysians in Ukraine are in the process of being evacuated, following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says eight Malaysians are based in Kiev, while the rest are outside the capital city.
This, as Ukraine has closed its airspace to civilian flights.
